BBB cover up continues--Moore's Sushi Disappeared As Well
July 21st, 2010Link: http://www.bbbroundup.com/LeadStory.html
As predicted, the LA BBB got around to disappearing the A- grade they had given back in June to the non-existent business, Moore's Sushi. The trouble is, this cat's already out of the bag. And don't forget readers, bbbroundup knows of dozens and dozens of other bogus businesses that have ALREADY received their accreditation and grade from various BBBs in the US and Canada.
BBB COVERUP HAS STARTED-HAMAS LISTING DISAPPEARED
July 21st, 2010Link: http://bbbroundup.com
A little bit past 9AM PST, the LA BBB disappeared their listing for HAMAS. This was predicted yesterday on bbbroundup.com. Unfortunately for the BBB is is too little, too late as many reporters have already seen the A- Grade the LA BBB gave to HAMAS.
The real question now is will the BBB show enough ethics to refund the membership fee they accepted?
HAMAS JOINS LOS ANGELES BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB). GETS A- GRADE
July 20th, 2010Link: http://bbbroundup.com/LeadStory.html
Apparently, the terrorist organization HAMAS is now a member in good standing with the Los Angeles BBB. HAMAS joined the LA BBB on July 12th of this year and have been given a BBB company ID number of 100096748.
HAMAS is described by the Better Business Bureau as a company who provides educational programs for troubled youth. This sounds like a ‘cleaned up’ description of exactly how HAMAS recruits its members for jihad.
The contact listed for HAMAS is one Bill Mitchell. It may be a co-incidence, but the CEO of the LA BBB is one William Mitchell.
However, five minutes of due diligence reveals that this listing for HAMAS is a joke. Of course, that is five minutes more due diligence than the BBB ever undertook. This speaks volumes about the credibility of the Better Business Bureau. In fact it's all you really need to know to understand just how corrupt the BBB actually is.

CLUELESS IN SEATTLE. BBB GRADES STARBUCKS WITH AN “F”
July 20th, 2010Link: http://bbbroundup.com/moregoofygrades.html
Apparently 49 complaints in three years have the BBB seething. While else would the Better Business Bureau give Starbucks an “F” grade. Of course, when you put things into perspective you have to start questioning the BBB. 49 complaints in three years against the millions of cups of coffee this represents. To me, Starbucks deserves an A+.
The more likely reason that Starbucks got an “F” is because Starbucks chose not to join the BBB. Why should they? Who chooses their coffee from a BBB recommendation? On the other hand, the BBB would love to bill Starbucks hundreds of dollars PER STARBUCKS LOCATION to join. Some 7000 locations at a minimum of $250 each. By this reporter’s math the BBB wants Starbucks to pony up somewhere in the ballpark of $2 MILLION per year for the dubious distinction of being an accredited member of the BBB. And for this sound business decision (deciding to join the BB
Starbucks gets an “F.”

Jimmie Rivers ruminates on the Better Business Bureau (BBB)
July 15th, 2010Link: http://www.bbbroundup.com
I was talking to my colleague, Scott Jordan, of the BetterEthicsBureau.org last night. At about the midpoint in our conversation we both agreed that when we started our investigation of the Better Business Bureau, we knew they were bad. What we didn't know until we started looking into things was just how bad the BBB is.
By bad I mean unethical, without morals or principals. The BBB offices are hypocrites, greedy and arrogant beyond belief. They mislead the public, they run rampant over small business, and they do nobody any good. You could argue that they actually make things worse when they interject themselves into a customer dispute situation. They rarely help the consumer, they slow down and make lots of extra work for the business which gets in the way of resolving things with the customer.
In the coming weeks, we will produce compelling evidence that shows the BBB, as presently operated, needs to clean up their act immediately or be shut down permanently. Bold statements, all true. Wait and see.
